October 28, 2024 – Our “Blind Logic” documentary has received the “Award of Excellence” from IndieFEST Film Awards for a Documentary Feature and Original Score. The IndieFEST Film Awards recognizes film, television, and new media professionals who demonstrate exceptional achievement in craft and creativity. “Blind Logic” joins the ranks of other high-profile winners of this internationally respected award including 2021 Academy Award winner “If Anything Happens I Love You” by Laura Dern, Will McCormack, and Oscar-nominee Liam Neeson as the narrator of “Love Thy Nature.”

October 1, 2024 – Alexandria, VA – Matthew Graham, Public Affairs Specialist, for the United States Patent & Trademark Office, published an extraordinary article entitled “A Brilliant Touch” on blind inventor Ralph Teetor.  Each month, their “Journeys of Innovation” series tells stories of inventors who have made a positive difference in the world.  See Matthew’s full article.

September 6, 2024 -Our documentary, “Blind Logic: The Ralph R. Teetor story,” has received the prestigious “Award of Excellence” for a Documentary Feature, Original Score, and Narration/Voice-Over Talent from the Accolade Global Film Competition. The Accolade is an original, internationally respected global competition, recognizing film, TV and media professionals who have demonstrated exceptional achievement in craft, creativity, and profound storytelling since 2003. As filmmaker Jack Teetor stated, “I am very proud that our artistic composer, Jim Andron, has been recognized for his inspiring and moving score.”

August 15, 2024 – La Jolla, CA – The “Blind Logic” documentary film received the “Award of Excellence” for a documentary feature by The Impact DOCS Awards. Impact DOCS is an internationally prestigious competition honoring filmmakers. Documentaries were received from 30 countries from around the world and judges based their decisions on the quality, creativity, and technical aspects of each film project. Rick Prickett, who chairs Impact DOCS, stated about the winners, “The judges and I were simply blown away by the variety and immensely important documentaries we screened.”

Syracuse, IN – July 24, 2024 – The Mail-Journal newspaper headlined “Sold Out response prompts second Showing of ‘Blind Logic’ in Syracuse.”  The historic Pickwick Theatre owners stated this is the first time ever a film has sold out under their ownership. Ralph Teetor and Cousin Dan Teetor both had homes on Lake Wawasee and pushed the limits of their speedboats. The credits include three of Dan Teetor’s grandsons, Jim Andron (Composer), Dan Teetor (Photo Editor), and Jack Teetor (Filmmaker).

WNIT: PBS Michiana – July 18, 2024 – Ralph Meyer, grandson of Ralph Teetor, was interviewed by WNIT, the PBS television station in South Bend, Indiana. Meyer conveyed the history of his grandfather in Hagerstown and the “Blind Logic” documentary film about Ralph Teetor’s remarkable life story. July 2024 – Milford, IN – LAKELife Magazine current issue highlights a 5-page photo spread and article entitled “A Blind Visionary: Ralph R. Teetor,” as the subject of the new documentary with a special screening in Syracuse.  The article was written by contributing writer Kristian DePue, who covers highlights of Teetor’s remarkable life, Lake Wawasee history, and the “Blind Logic” film. Yahoo! Finance – April 17, 2024 – Blind Logic Productions partners with Video Caption Corporation for Accessible Documentary Film “Blind Logic,” and creates an Audio Description (AD) track, to make the film accessible for the blind & visually impaired audience. Read more

February 25, 2024 – Western Wayne News announced the Indiana screenings of the documentary “Blind Logic: The Ralph R. Teetor Story.” The screenings will be in Hagerstown and Richmond on April 5th & April 7th, respectively. January 26, 2024 – Santa Monica, CA – The Rotary Club invited Jack Teetor to present the story of Ralph R. Teetor and his upcoming documentary film. Teetor had commented that someone had stated about Ralph Teetor, “He was a beacon of hope and an inspiration to others.”

January 16, 2024 – Eric Monterastelli, Founder of Gran Touring Motorsports, along with co-host, Enrique Rodriguez, interviewed Jack Teetor for the popular Break/Fix Podcast, capturing the living history of people from the automotive world to inspire a new generation. December 15, 2023 – Hagerstown, IN – Ball State/PBS television producer Sarah Kreps and her production team interviewed Ralph Meyer & Jack Teetor about Ralph Teetor and the upcoming 2024 documentary, “Blind Logic: The Ralph R. Teetor Story.” Sarah produced “Now Entering Hagerstown,” a series about significant stories and events in small Indiana towns.

December 15, 2023 – Hagerstown, IN – Bob Hansen, of Western Wayne News, interviewed Jack Teetor about his documentary film telling the story of Ralph Teetor and his 2021 filming in Hagerstown. As Teetor told Hansen, “It’s an important story that needs to be told.”

March 2023 – Indianapolis Star newspaper article “7 New Movies Filmed in Indiana,” with Teetor interviewed about his film by reporter Domenica Bongliovanni. Teetor was quoted about Ralph Teetor’s upbringing as, “His parents raised him as though he was not handicapped, and he developed his extraordinary sense of hearing, vibration, and mental vision, and went on to achieve quite a few things in his life.”

October 21, 2021 – Hagerstown, IN – Marissa Slagle of Western Wayne News headlines “A Teetor Returns Hagerstown,” and covered the film shoot in town. Marissa wrote about Ralph Teetor, “He was not only a mechanical genius, but a philanthropist, giving back to his community.” As Jack Teetor commented, “I was in such awe of this man.”
